Sugar Beach is conveniently located within walking distance to beach rentals, restaurants, and the Gulf’s longest fishing pier. It is also just a few miles to the golf courses, churches, and shopping centers. If you are flying in, the resort is about 30 miles to the Pensacola airport.

It looks like a very nice property and perhaps the lower rate is due to it being the furthest away from the action at Juana’s Pagoda’s.

Best Ways to Rent or Stay at the Caribbean Resort in Navarre Beach

The Caribbean Resort in Navarre Beach is a 3-star condominium complex located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. This 19-story condominium offers spectacular views and easy access to pristine beaches and bountiful water activities. It offers 51 individually-decorated accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors.

We walked past this property every day on our trip in July of 2019. We stayed across the street at a single family home development. We definitely had more privacy but I think we would stay in a Navarre Beach beachfront condo next time. You can’t beat the easy access to the beach and the views.

Navarre Beach Hotels

Finding Navarre Beach Hotels isn’t always an easy task. Especially in the high tourist season of May, June, and July. There is not a ton of inventory if you want to stay on the beach or even in Navarre proper. It doesn’t help that hurricanes rumble through from time to time. Most recently it was Hurricane Ivan that wiped out the beachfront Holiday Inn in 2004.

We included sections on beachfront, sound side waterfront, and cheap hotels in Navarre Beach and the surrounding area in this post. Then we have a full Navarre Beach Hotels directory to help you in your search.

Of course, the big trusted travel sites such as TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and Hotels.com can all be used to do your initial searches of Navarre Beach hotel availability.

Navarre Beach Hotels Beachfront

Let’s tackle the beachfront hotels first since that is the primary reason people come to Navarre Beach. If you are looking for Navarre Beach hotels beachfront, then there are really only two games in town. The Springhill Suites, which is a Marriott property, can be rented on a nightly basis. Then you have the Inn at Summerwind that rents like a hotel but does require a multiple night stay. If you want a one night stay on the beach Spring Hill Suites is your only option. The Inn at Summerwind is part of a three-tower complex of which the end is in one of those towers.

Springhill Suites Navarre Beach

Yes, Springhill Suites Navarre Beach is the only true nightly more traditional hotel that is beachfront in Navarre Beach. Before our first trip to Navarre Beach, I recall looking at rates for this hotel and saying “Are you kidding me, that much for a Springhill Suites brand hotel!”.

But, now I get it. They are the only game in town if you want a nightly rate. If you can get a room in the high tourist season of June you are going to pay at least 300.00 a night. Now, that being said, it appears to be a really nice setup. We went over for a drink one evening and walked past it most days we went to the beach.

A lazy river pool and a nice sundeck are the main attractions. Then, of course, just like everything else in Navarre Beach, the views and the beach are why you are there. It is a little kid heavy for our likes, but we may stay for a night or two on our next trip to let our kids get a shot at that lazy river pool.

Beach House Bar & Grill

There are only a few places on Navarre Beach you can get a drink brought to you with a front-row view of the Gulf. The Beach House Bar & Grill in the Springhill Suites is one of them. Again, we just had a drink there without our kids and it was a little kid heavy for us in the dining room. But we enjoyed the outdoor deck and even had a couple of appetizers that are enjoyable. The staff was friendly as well.

History

Normally we wouldn’t give you the history of a hotel, especially since this one has very little of its own. It was built in 2017 and had its grand opening that summer. The 161-room hotel at 8375 Gulf Blvd. replaced the old Holiday Inn, which was destroyed by Hurricane Ivan in 2004.

The Inn at Summerwind Navarre Beach

If you were looking for a traditional hotel on the beach in the Spring Hill suites is the only game in town. It is the only property that you can rent on a nightly basis. Alternatively, The inn at Summer wind must be rented for multiple nights.

Cheap Navarre Beach Hotels

The name of the game in finding cheap Navarre Beach hotels is how far you willing to stay away from the water. Anything on the beach or even the sound is going to cost you.

#1 Insider Tip: The further inland the cheaper you may be able to find a room. The good news is that Navarre Beach has fantastic public beaches that you can drive to and park during the day for free!

Even in high tourist season, you should be able to find something starting at $79.00 as long as you are willing to sacrifice being on the water.
