Collier Seminole State Park has many amazing features, just a few miles from Marco Island. They have campsites, boating, fishing, and canoeing. They also have a mile-long nature walk and narrated boat tours that run daily.

Briggs Nature Center is a scenic retreat where Marco Island visitors can explore the Florida Everglades in its natural habitat. Shell seekers will find that Briggs offers daily shelling excursions, as well as self-guided canoe trips. We couldn’t find a Marco Island beach cam there so you will have to visit in person.

Marco Island is the largest of Ten Thousand Islands in a chain of islands and mangrove islets off the coast of southwest Florida.

Can you have dogs on Marco Island beach?

Dogs are not allowed on the Marco Island beaches. Luckily, Keewaydin Island is just north of Marco Island and welcomes dogs.

How wide is Marco Island?

Marco Island is about 4 miles wide, 6 miles long, and a mere 90 miles west of Miami and 157 miles south of Tampa.
