The Pearl of Navarre Beach is an upscale resort located at Gulf Boulevard. A half-mile west of Navarre Bridge, this 258-feet 17-story resort mixes beautiful views and affordable prices with spacious, livable, relaxed interiors. It offers easy access to the sugary sand beaches and the aquamarine waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Each of the two- and three-bedroom condos have a Gulf-front balcony, with wraparounds on the three-bedroom units offering panoramic views. It is conveniently located near a variety of activities and attractions that will be enjoyed by the whole family.

Navarre Beach Summerwind is a unique property comprised of three towers Summerwind West, Summerwind Condominium and The Inn at Summerwind in that rents out much more like a hotel.  We found listings on Booking.com and TripAdvisor.com to be the most convenient way to check availability at The Inn at Summerwind.

For more traditional rentals in the other towers your best bets are searching VRBO Navarre Beach Summerwind and, of course, AirBnB.

NAVARRE BEACH SUMMERWIND AMENITIES

At the heart of Navarre Beach lies the grand Summerwind Resort.

Each room is also thoughtfully-decorated to accommodate anywhere between 6 to 12 people. The upscale furnishings and appliances add a touch of luxury to these relaxing rentals.

Units are fully equipped from a full-featured kitchen to an in-unit washer and dryer.

All rentals are Gulf Front and give full beach access. Summerwind has gorgeous swimming pools—one which is heated during the winter. The beach also offers three hot tubs.

One of the best things we did on our trip was going on a Navarre Beach Dolphin Cruise.  To be fair we actually ended up using a company in Pensacola Beach that no longer operates because the departures worked better for us.  We had a great time and know there are quite a few good companies servicing the Navarre and Navarre Beach, Florida areas, and thought a directory of companies may be helpful for other first-time vacationers to the area.

Scheduling can be the hardest part of the process.  We did not know about TripShock, which consolidates Dolphin Cruise listings in the Navarre and Pensacola areas.  You may want to start there to see what Dolphin tour options and discounts they have available.

One money-saving tip is to always see if there is a Groupon available for Dolphin cruises in the area. Viator, a Trip Advisor company, also now books dolphin tours (although most of them leave out of Pensacola).

Our Navarre Beach Dolphin Cruise Experience

We were in Navarre Beach for nearly two weeks and we just seemed to keep missing the opportunities to schedule a dolphin cruise.  We were trying to schedule our family and my brothers, who live in Navarre Beach, and we just couldn’t make the timing work out.

We finally got one scheduled that worked for us.  It was the only one we did so we can’t say whether it was the best.  But, it worked for us, and we had a great time and consider it one of the highlights of the trip.

If you want a more domesticated experience you can see dolphins in captivity at the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park in Fort Walton Beach.
